    Does anyone else use a Janoel incubator?

    I have a janoel 24 and I love it! My hatches - we have done 3, have been really good. The last one was the worst because our air conditioner died and everything got super hot. A week later the electricity went out - those poor babies! We ended up with 13 out of 24 and I thought that was a miracle!

    Thanks so much! Day 19 and out of 24, 14 went into lockdown and the first little lady has already made her entrance! Now to be patient for everyone else. Ha - I think I will run to town because otherwise I may go crazy!!!

    How long should I wait before I put her in the brooder? Should I give her a full 24 hours or no? And I do realize that people's opinions are different but that is what I love about this place! I get to hear all thoughts and then do what makes sense to me. :) Thanks so much!

    I do not know! The readout appears to only show temp. There is a small opening in the top that I closed for lockdown - I am assuming it's purpose was to help raise the humidity for hatching. I am thinking I need to open this? My chick is just laying down now. I hope she is just napping from...
