Thank you so much. I have put a little Motrin into the water to the rooster that is more bloody than the other one. I separated them too late, so much blood but he's eating a little so I hope he's fine. Also, the other rooster, who's a little bit better then him, has the right leg off to the...
Hey guys. If you read my recent post you know that both my roosters have gone into a bloody battle. I want to wash them out so I can see if they have any wounds, but I was wondering if it is bad to touch their blood. I know, I know, kind of stupid to ask, but this is my first time dealing with...
Do you think the pullet will be upset if I take both the roosters away? I just can't choose which one to let go so I might take both of them away. If this makes the pullet upset then I'll keep one
Okay so roo #1 is more bigger and roo #2 is a bit smaller. I locked up the smaller roo because even after the bigger roo stopped fighting since i pushed him away, the smaller rooster always came back to fight like it was fun to do so.
They are both beautiful roosters, but I have to let one go...
Today was crazy! My two roosters kept fighting each other! They keep chasing each other, like when a kid plays tag the tagger is chasing the other person, and that is just like my roosters, but only violent. One of my roosters beak is bleeding because the other rooster hurt him. They always are...
I will be posting a picture later, but the rooster is about 5-6 months old. He isn't bothered by it at all, he walks around like he doesn't even have a limped leg. I don't think he has any pain in the leg since he hasn't been showing any sign of it. He also had it since he was a couple months...
My chicken has been limping for quite some time. My father tied a wood piece with some cloth to help the chicken's leg stay in place. We kept it for a week and a couple days, but he's still limping. Any suggestions?
Hello, so today I checked on my chickens. So sometimes I usually feel their chests to see if they ate any food . So while I checked the chickens, my chicken, Big Boy, had a really squishy chest compared to the other chickens. The other chickens (Bob and Larry) have firm or hard chests. Big Boy...
Thank you so much! I'm pretty sure an animal frightened them because they are back to normal jumping and playing around. :) but I will give them watermelon or apple to help them with the mealworms. Thanks again!
