Yes!! That's me! I get asthma from allergies if they get to nuts! I am also allergic to cats :) which I have two but my meds work really well for that. Hay however..is one of the big ones.
I had read that some people don't even feed their goats hay and just pellets..but I assume that's a no no?
Okay--I am fairly sure I know the answer is a big fat NO!:)
But I am allergic to pretty much all grasses..Timothy in particular..
we want goats but I want to breathe ;)
Do goats NEED hay? or can they go without and still be healthy?

We started with 8 pullets in Oct and now just have 2 hens that lay. We live on over an acre have a safe secure coop for them but they do free range during the day. It makes us all so happy to see them running around our area...until they get killed :(

Had 4 pullets, my dog killed one. We replaced her with another pullet from same flock. Two days later two Huskies got out of their fence killed all five plus my neighbors!
