I'm on day 3 of lockdown & I have about 15 babbies hatch out their are a lot more peeping . H ow long can they live in the bator before they need water or food. The bator is steyerfoam should I turn down the heat:he:idunno:idunno

I use pine shaving covered with paper towels till they know the differents between their feed and the chips. Use several layers and remove the top ones when dirty. DO NNOT USE CEDER CHIPS THE ARE POISION TO CHICKS!!!! Good luck
I just hatched out 13 production red x black copper marans chicks. I got 2 white black on wings, 3 soilid blues, 4 soilid black,1 red,3 a mixture of black & red. I can't wait till the pullets start to lay eggs to see how big & dark they are. Good luck on your project. Keep me up to date please.
