    I believe I am the crazy chicken lady already ... I plan to spend my Saturday catching large grasshoppers for my feathery kids ... they have thinned out the grasshopper hunting grounds in the backyard. they can't go in the front due to the neighbors' dogs... so off I go to hunt and bag...

    I feel bad for Stew! LOL! He's been good to them. I will try and get a video of him trying to catch up with them when we let them out of the.coop... they run as fast as they can to get under the deck to catch baby frogs! ♡

    My husband and I have 8 hens (three Plymouth Barred Rocks and five Rhode Island Reds) and one little bitty Banty Rooster named Stew. He struggles to keep up with them, they never listen to him, and he's always crowing at them for something ... poor guy ... :-)

    Howdy from the metroplex

    I am brand new today, as well! My husband and I live southeast of Kaufman, so we areally close. We have five Rhode Island Red hens, three Plymouth Barred Rock hens and one little bitty Bantam rooster named Stew. :-)
