    Chick bottom beak; trim or not?

    Thank you everyone for your replies. Took her to get the beak trimmed, and turns out I am not crazy. The vet agreed the bottom beak is too soft to be trimmed right now. We're putting her on calcium supplements to hopefully harden up the beak so that it can be filed. Appreciate everyone's tips!!

I also noticed she's the only chick that continuously pecks at the wood chips. I've given her grit to try to deter her from pecking at the shavings. Just to be safe...
