    Well 30 chicks hatched so far. 4 pips and 4 not doing anything yet. I had 4 that were questionable at lockdown but I left them in anyway. Heading to bed we'll see what it looks like in morning. Hopefully they will all be hatched when I wake up. I would like to get coolerbater ready for a dozen...

    Coolerbator is filling up quick. 35 have pipped and out of those 24 have hatched. 3 more are zipping now. I love hatch day.

    The rabbits live in cages in the coop during the winter. The chickens have access under them to scratch around in there mess. In the spring we move them all outside to a covered area around the run. It's a bigger area easier to move around and more room for breeding.

    Well I just candled on day 13 and got rid of 2 out of the 40 set. 1 clear and one blood ring. I've been so busy cleaning out the coop and moving rabbits to the outside hutch I didn't have time to candle before today.

    Okay, I decided to set 40 for the April hatch. The 22 hens out of 34 chicks hatched in the Easter hatch we're going to be added to my flock, but I got a good offer for the entire hatch and took it. That means I still need more pullets by around September. Good luck everyone.

    Woke up this morning to 9 more chicks. One had zipped yesterday but couldn't make it out before membrane dried and stuck. Had to assist this morning. Looks good except for curled toes from being stuck. So far 28 have hatched, 10 eggs left
