    This my first time and I have been learning along the way. Ten minutes ago , another lucky one managed to come out . They started under a broody hen , then I realised she had too many under her, then moved a few into the incubator.

    Thank you for all your replies, I am so excited now,,, got the brooder ready.... But now been 12 hours, only one egg has a small crack.... I do not have a hygrometer, by looking at the photo, does anyone know approx the % of humidity in the incubator?

    Today is day 21 in the incubator, I can hear faint "chirping" from inside the egg. Is this normal ? I don't see any pipping .... Anyone knows anything about what this might be?

    Thank you for your reply. I have taken 8 eggs from her today and put it in the incubator. I candled the eggs some are normal with no signs of embryo. I have only left the ones that have some sign of life in them .

    This morning , 15th day into hatch, my broody hen went out for a walk for about ten minutes. I noticed a few of the eggs cooled down. I took them out. Later she went back to sit on the eggs. Is this normal for her to leave the eggs and go for a walk on day 15 into hatch ?
