today I have more chicks Black /blue and Dom White hatching from my foundation breeders .

I m in NSW Central coast , I can help you with some fertile eggs or young bird this coming breeding season , I m hatching now from 3 different foundation pens so in the spring time I should spare you a trio of Blue or BC .

like I explained it chest marking is not an issue it is accepted by the SOP for the rooster to have black or marked chest ,as long as the marling doesn t go all the way down to the thigh .

chest leakage is not a fault as long doesn t go all the way down to to the thigh ,there is miss understanding about the marked chest and green sheen on the black copper caused by the show judges . the standard call for No sheen is required and chest should have some copper marking but the judges...
moved the eggs to the hatcher this evening 42 good one out of 49 few of them look like they are not going to make it ,but still lot good one ,fingers cross ,

11 days old chicks this one are from One Eye Angel some are Blue ,others are Black and one is DW ,some are fast feathering type ,other are slow feathering type all healthy
Blue copper chicks group 2 from a Splash copper rooster Talking Angel over BCM hens Amori s daughters ,all 8 of them have fast feathering type ,they are 11 day s old they wing and tails feathers are fully formed .there is few shade of blue colour expecting that some are darker like they grand...
guess breeding her to a golden cuckoo is a great move becuase the lighter hackle doesn t matter the barring gene will affect the copper any way ,

more progress yesterday on the container coops .manage to fix the chicken mesh along the pens and fix the plywood sheet at the bottom of each coop ,they are about a foot high to keep the the wire safe from rusting .
now the breeding season is ending so I decide not to fix the door yet on the...
does appear on few of my chooks when it is hot and humid but always goes away ,never bother me .and I don t know what causing it never looked into it ,maybe it is time to do so ,

in this 2 photos her hackle look more golden type rather than copper type plus the photo making her earlobe look white ,look like this 2 photos are doing her justice . we need to see better one please.

set 49 eggs this evening ,they are from 3 different pens ,I m not getting many eggs now most of my hens has stopped laying and they are molting , I m trying to few chicks from the one they still laying ,

I get what you saying y friend , all my old birds will live the rest of they life in my farm ,the young stock I m not too attached to but not my breeders ,they contribution is so great I can t just get rid of them it is they home as must as mine ,
try to look after them till they die naturally ...
