    I had a crook chook that was holding its head in quite alot,I noticed she died yesterday,no signs of injury at all. Does anyone know what this could be? She seemed slow and walked slowley as well.

    Hi all. My second duck has laied alot of eggs,maybe 15 or so,but she is in a flat floored nest box and the eggs keep rolling out onto the ground.     Ive just had all 13 eggs hatch for a first time broody,I reckon thats pretty good. Do I need to seperate mum and babys from the drake and the other laying female? I think I heard the drake can be a little mean towards young ones? Thanks guys.

    one would think since they are a scavenger/forager that is omnivorous (sp) they would have a very good sense of smell. i still believe they are little T-rex's, and they were scavengers/opportunistic hunters.

    no dingoes here in New zealand. The biggest night time predator we have is a mid sized owl so they should be ok at night if they get out again.

    well i found them,next door (few acres) and rounded them back into their tractor pen,that wount happen again soon i hope? Should i trim their wings so if they do escape again they wont be able to fly as well.
