Well I've decided blkjak is right, he's a Jerzy giant. Looks identical to the pictures online and i compared him to a 2 year old jersey giant last night, same height, stature, feathers and almost as thick. The only difference was his crooked comb (which we love, gives him some character )...

He's got smooth grey legs and feet. I thought jersey giant as well, but he's not giant, then again that term is relative i guess. ..

Thanks for the reply. He's not huge, he's only a few inches traler than my Americauna pullets. The pullets are about 18 weeks or so and he's supposedly just over a year.
