    Easter Egger egg color has changed?

    The same thing happiest to my EE. They were nice green eggs then they stopped I to thought they had stopped laying but today I opened the roosting box and she was in there. I waited for her to come out and there was a tan egg. How does the color change?

    We actually looked at you tube. We cut only one side as well. They didn't fly over but we ended up covering the run with netting due to a nice big hawk. Attempting to visit out girls .

    Corn on the cob?

    Mine love corn on the cob. They also love cabbage I put hook Luke you hand a plant on screwed into the core and hang the head of cabbage down and the love it.

    We have 14 hens and only got 3 eggs in a 48 hour period.

    We got our girls from someone and it took a week or two to get them calmed down and into regular laying again. Give them time.

    All chickens stopped laying eggs last few days

    My 2 Easter eggers have not layed any eggs since last week. Not sure what's going on. All the other girls are fine. We did get 5 12 week old girls but have them separated by fence and the are not in the coop together but the Easter eggers don't even seem to pay any attention to the new girls...

    They are 1-2 years old. There is ventilation in the coop. I close it nightly but we have a window that can open and a flap in the back so I have closed both of those so there is no wind blowing through. I am pretty sure they stayed out with their previous owners. We did not have then in cold...

    We are actually in a neighborhood about 10 mins from uptown Charlotte. We have several neighbors that let their chickens stay loose in their yards. We close the coop up at night. We have only had a couple Hawks check out the girls so we put bird netting over the whole area. So far we have...
