Well I can't order as chick's bc I don't want to order the minimum of 15, or even 3 if I pay extra 50$ for shipping, as I don't want 3 of the same breed.- davischick

What is the best suggestion for buying a variety of hens? I know we can only have 6 so that makes it almost impossible to order. I don't want straight run as I can't take risk of getting a rooster. Well I don't live in a neighborhood of complainers, luckily. There is a duck and guinea down a few houses that don't even have an enclosed pen. They just roam the yard all day with the dog.
