    There is an ABGA (boar goats) show at the fairgrounds that day. Only a mile or so down Leetown Rd from Gowers. If anyone would like to stop over after the sale!

    We have friends who have a Bulgarian Shepherd....can't spell the real name! It was trained to guard their goats but they never worked to bond it to the other animals. It will literally lay w/in a few feet of a fox killing a guinea but nothing comes near the goats. I guess you have to make sure...

    I would ask to see what code/bylaw you are breaking by having chickens. Is this your town? http://www.amherstburg.ca/bylawsandforms The only animals I see addressed are dogs.

    My animals and my kids are in a fenced pasture, run or yard. Period. No worries about how responsible other people are. Makes like alot easier.
