My son just recieved a cochin assortment from Ideal.
1 and 3 look like his partridges
2 and 4 the buff and white.
some of his whites look like they have grey sweatshirts on
But you know they are babies and even with the hatchery telling us what is there you still have trouble. If his salmon...
I'm thinking a roo for sure and possibly two fems. They look like doms to me.
My doms are not as gentle as my brahmas or orpingtons but not evil. well except for the rooster- we call him sergeant and are a little afraid of him. But he takes great care of his girls.

I am so thankful I don't like everything that comes my way. I had so far! Highland steer, sheep (any kind), dairy goats, angoras are okay, chickens (love them), rabbits are great dogs, cats, fish and now turkeys. But my neighbor had some guineas stop at his house and I am so thankful they...

I can do that!! Thank you so much for the information. I came across something that said the calcium content would hurt the roosters. Too much false information out there.

That man can't sit down.
Those favs are growing on me fast, but he wants to pay for them himself and start his own business- yeah He isn't even nine yet. Better get it started soon!

The roos have 3 girls each right now- each roo with its own pen and trio. When they are not together, then, there is a feed for roosters- is it just the grower /finisher?
Thank you,
Lynne
