They will be 4 months in just a few days 😃
Would you please remind me the meds or the thread that I can find the information? I lost it!
On another note, I have three peas, the third one went also through a slipped tendon issue, a couple of weeks after Bean was healed.
He has been a huge...
They are outside since Sunday and doing great! They are starting to love their big pen and today I saw them sunbathing. I was reading that they need to be dewormed in a month and trated for coccidia? Is this correct?
Bean, the one who slipped his tendon is in the back in the second picture...
Ok, I need some guidance. We will be gone on vacation starting August 25th and for three weeks. This was planned way before the peachicks arrived unespectedly.
They will be 15 weeks then.
We’re planning on completing their run before we go, is it going to be ok for them to be on grass at that...
This peachick is now 6-7 weeks. It’s not as stripy as the other two. Am I assuming right that it may be a girl?
This is the sassier and bossier of the three, the personality would make me think boy…
Tonight my suspects kind of became reality. I am pretty sure we have at least another male peacock in the neighborhood.
Mine are still little, but I was planning on letting them free range when they’ll be old enough.
Not sure where the other peacock is as I haven’t seen it, but I heard it.
It’s...

He’s a lot more secure standing up and walking. He’s just done with his zoomies, he was literally running. I took him out of his enclosure to stretch a bit.
Thank you for all of your advice. We would have never made it here without you ❤️
I cancelled the vet appointment for tomorrow.
Fingers crossed that he keeps improving as the time goes by.
In the end I taped him with sports bandage not tape, but it fell off, so he’s been walking with nothing on all night. He’s a bit shaky and limping still but he’s walking and the tendon stayed put. Should I try again with tape him this morning? When will we know that we’re out of the woods?
I...
Checked on him again and the foot is swollen again. Worse than earlier. The tendon is still in place. I really didn’t think I taped it too tight. Now the front part of his knee is red.
Once again, I am not sure what to do!
The swelling went down and now he’s back walking again with the cardboard splint. I shortened a bit.
What tape do you use?
Should I get athlete’s tape?
