    If you want full security you will need to cover any openings where predators can enter with hardware cloth. I used cattle panel and covered with 1/2" hardware cloth. No losses to date and don't expect any.

    I had to take their beak and tap it on the nipple so they felt the water coming out. I did it with all 7 of mine and from that point on they used the nipple.
