    I have questioned the bird you said was possibly a cockerel since I got it. Its tail is fairly long and is a little bigger than the other.

    I have not heard any crowing. Neither one have started laying either.

    Not exactly sure. Bought them at an auction a little over a month ago. I'm guessing somewhere around 20 weeks. They were sold as two hens. They've doubled in size since I got them.

    Thank you for the reply QueenMisha. As I said before, I am new to chickens. I'm still learning. The Barred chickens were sold to me as hens. How do you tell the difference?
