Lethargic hen, droopy wings, no other symptoms. Stress?

Thanks Faraday40! Ill have to give litter a little more thought. I am currently still using the chips I bought for the chicks (they have really lasted) and some shavings from wood cutting here. I wondered if the sand would be less expense but also if it would invite pests. Lots of things here...

oh! those are very nice chickens! I was just offered some purebred Ayam Cemani and also Svart Hona. Unfortunately for her they got mixed together. I am looking for eggs though and neither breed as cool as they are lay well. I am not ready for breeding yet and unsure I will be into breeding...

Found what looked like a piece of white leather in my coop. I assumed it was what you have in your picture. I figure it happens. Though I am still not sure one of my gals is laying. Everyone here seems so confident about who is and who is not. Ive only been able to catch one. My black sexlink...

Here is a good note for you! I just separated my two roosters. I gave away my top rooster. He was fine and even would protect me from my RIR who is constantly aggressive with me. I was very worried about re-homing my top rooster. But its been a few weeks and everything is fine. :) In fact the...

Flowering vines that are safe for Chickens

ever find anything? I was thinking of morning glories for a side of my coop that will be a walk path with a shed on the other side. So not worried about covering that side. But that looks like a no. Wonder what other choices there are? Black eyed susan, clematis?

I understand. I just gave up my best rooster. Made me nervous but everyone swears the underdog in my coop will step up to the job. But I still wonder if he will be as good. I hope it works out for you. I bet separating them will help. Vying for rank tends to make animals aggressive.

Thank you! Yes I understand it wont be easy but I already planned on integrating 6 more next year. This just makes this happen faster. I was happy to get a rooster because we were told this would help integration. I wont get more hens until we finish the new coop and move the run to it. Then...
