Looks like I'll be potentially getting more chicks, one of my hens is sleeping on a nest away from the coop. I believe she's an australorpe, she was supposed to be a jersey giant but she's not big enough.
My total was 23 out of 30 that developed. 6 did nothing, they were eggs I collected during a cold spell so they were likely damaged from that. One pipped and died. Not too bad for a winter hatch.
I'm down 10 eggs, a couple duds and a few early DIS. I know cold may have been a factor for some of them. I still have 30 something going. I'm going to set up my brooder this week so it'll be ready.
