Oh good ♡ I got mine from a lady that got them as hatching eggs from a breeder.. swore he was a 'she' til he attempted to crow..lol.. and I'm usually decent about sexing them
You mean you had a hen lay 5 eggs in one week and getting 2-3 each week now? It's not possible for a hen to lay more than one egg a day (each egg takes approximately 25 hours to form, meaning they'll usually have one day off every 7-10 days or so)

This is where I saw it..I prefer Safeguard for everything and only used Wazine when I first got chickens
Don't know that it's the best, but I use Safeguard horse or goat (depending on which animal I'm deworming) but I use it on everything from 3 week old pups /kittens to the chickens. .ironically, not my horses...
But I either drop a CC of it in their beak 1 day, followed by one day off and then...
Luckily, either they just have too many wild food sources or my dogs are just a natural deterrent bc I've never even seen them hanging around my place...every once in a while I'll see one swoop down and grab a field mouse down in the horses meadow, but the avoid the whole area around the barn...
I think the key word there is game bird..lol.. my Silkie roo may put up a fight, but guarantee he will not be the one crowing when it's all said and done..
Bwhahahaha...hey that is a legit job in my world and probably helps more people than you know..and I don't think there is such a thing as a stupid question fyi.. trust me on that.. maybe some stupid answers...but you can not learn if you do not ask ♡♡♡
Complete saddle package.. was sat on horse 2 times for pictures and never ridden in. Includes bridle, breastcollar, and saddle pad. Horn was used for teething by a pup, so is somewhat damaged..very lighweight, good for youth or smaller adult.
Sell for 100$ + shipping (its very light so...
Well..he's sold out of almost everything.. he does have RC Rhode Islands and bantam Barred Rocks that we're considering but still looking for sources on the rest of the breeds :)
Right? !
She's still acting completely normal, aside from not laying.. but no gross surprises either so that's a plus.. I'll tell you what, I don't think your chickens would have beat you to this ...thing...
I have a dog that will eat anything. And I do mean anything.. she of course ran to the...
I already emailed him :) and was super excited to see he was in PA and close to Pittsburgh :D I'm closer to Morgantown (well that's the closest "town"..lol).
I've heard his name in passing, but never really paid much attention. .so so very glad you told me ♡
Thank you so much!
I royally messed up my first hatch..started with shipped eggs, styro wafer bator, added a few local eggs for a staggered hatch without a separate hatcher, relied on the incus temp reading..it was a wreck (surprisingly managed to hatch a few by the grace of God ..but I promise..it only gets...
I am looking for hatching eggs of quality birds, prefer standard sizes but bantams considered. The cheaper the better or willing to trade for some from my very limited supply. Im trying to supply about 18 kids with 3 or 4 chicks each and considering the risks of shipped eggs, will probably need...
That's a scary situation to be in ..glad you're okay ♡♡
When my daughter was 3 , I had her in the barn with me and thankfully I had put her in the tack room (I usually let her play in the arena or hay pile) when I was leading a stallion to the breeding post where a mare was waiting.. he reared...
