Sad to report that the little duckling with the bad leg did not make it. I tried bringing it in, warming it up, giving it water, but it wouldn't drink or move. Well, next year my birth control will be picking up eggs every day! I put a paint tray in the chicken tractor today so the little ones can swim and be able to get out easily. They love it! Thanks for all of the help. -

I need some guidance regarding whether to move the next batch WITH their mom to the tractor. I feel like it would be fine since now different moms and batches hang right together without issue. It won't work with just one mom as the newest little ones will need warmth. -

I rescued 25 Muscovies and Rouens last year. This spring there are many nests. 2 nests hatched 4 and 8. Those have all disappeared one by one. The moms were not great and didn’t watch them closely. OK, thanks. I moved him and two hens to the small coop. The only drag is there isn't power to it so the water froze in about 2 hours. I would have to figure that out. :-(- docrox12
