    How long should it take for chick to fluff

    I have one chick that hatched at 11:30 a.m central time. He is still not dry and fluffed. The humidity is 73% which is the problem I think. What should I do? Leave him alone? Thanks so much for any advice. This is my first hatch so I'm nervous here :ep

    I have a AcuRite digital temp/humidity thermometer. Temp is 102 humidity 71%. IS THIS TEMP TO HIGH? Day 20 will start in 4 hours and nothing happening yet. They were all good when I candled at lock down. Until day 18 I used the one that came with the incubator. Now I am worried it maybe to hot...

    I am not sure of the breed. My parents have chickens and gave me 14 eggs to try and hatch. They are taking pics so I can post and ask what breeds. All seems to be going well. Hope to have them hatch or atleast half.
