Ok, I looked, and they all appear to have teeny tiny little straight combs, so my guess is I managed to get all game birds. Which is just fine with me. My adult games are both fun little biddies
the top pic, the beak is smooth, and in the bottom pic there is a divet. Both chicks are the same age, and the second chick has always had a bit of a divet, it's just more pronounced now.
I am very lucky. We were going to buy a ridiculously expensive coop before she suggested converting our unused dog house since its roomier, already insulated, and there. She's also the one that suggested bantam babies, and this website!
I hold my babies as often as possible. They chirp VERY loud when it's time for me to go love on them. 5 of the 6 come right to my hand, there is just one that is leery of me and prefers my husband

I purchased 6 chicks from TSC from the "asst. Bantam bin" and I'm dying to know what breeds. I'm new to chickens, and whereas my mother in law is a massive help with care, she knows nothing about breed!
