Hi again... With you talking about your girls outgrowing the run, with the kennel I use to hold the houses, I also staked a playpen yard around a couple of sides of the kennel...if they aren't free ranging then they have the option just to stay in their fenced area. Hi... I have a cheap house that I had purchased so I know why you mean about cheap. I live in MI so we have some harsh winters here and here's what I did to keep my kids warm and still use their house. Thanks for the advice on the rope toys. I definitely will watch them on that...mine definitely always peck at my pants and boots when I go in their pen so they are curious little buggers. 2 chickens and 1 duck
I agree...keep them separate for a bit but they should be good to go after some introduction time. I have 3 ducks...each a different kind and they go everywhere together, sleep and play together. Good luck! -
