This is in SoFla (Jupiter/Palm Beach). Sorry for pic quality, phone's digital zoom is not the best.

Saw wild duck I am unfamiliar with. Anyone have any idea what it is? Bright, neon orange bills and legs, stark white and black under wings and breast, with a mottled brown back. Very smooth plumage with neck and legs longer and more slender than the norm... Will try do post pic. Any ideas?

Will do. Pond is small and not near other sources. Never seen a gator or snapper in it so will give it a try.

No. Too many hawks around Jupiter farms property and too many osprey around the east property. Both places will have large coops and tractors. May try a little supervised 'free' ranging in the garden if they bond. Ducks will get turned out during the day and housed at night.

New to BYC, although I have been stalking off and on for a couple years. Getting re-established in Jupiter, Palm Beach. Focusing mainly on quail, and maybe ducks...other parcel may get some chickens as well, depending on the neighbors. Thanks for all yall's insight and sharing!
