WOW I never thought that old. I was given them through a friend of a family member so don't know much about them. I have a white one too but that one looks a lot older so I assumed this grey one was less than 6 months.

This is why I keep changing my mind! The spiky head makes me think cockerel. I guess I just have to keep an ear out for the crowing. Thanks.

Thanks chicknannie. That's what I'm thinking but I have 1 other silkie and been getting 2 eggs on some days. So I assumed both were pullets.

I have a silkie which I am not sure if it is a pullet or not. I'm leaning towards rooster because of the feathers on its head. But I am still undecided. Let me know what you think. Thanks a lot!
