Thanks so much for responding! I AM afraid it might be genetic--the condition of the chicks at hatch is just so suspicious. I've been hoping there was some aspect of peafowl husbandry I'm just totally unaware of--and in browsing this forum yesterday and today, I realize I haven't been doing... -
