    Yes they came like this - Thank you for this advise- we've just sat for and hour cleaning each one with warm water and soft towels it looks like growned in soiled mud that has become very hard- they look better but a lot of baldness on some heads - like you say possible overcrowding- will change...

    They are in an store with lots of fresh hey and a litter tray filled with water - and open mesh door for light - I got them on Sunday delivered from a farm - they just have heat at night if it’s cold - normal chicken feeders for holding the non -medicated poultry crumb- I have five.

    I’ve just acquired 5 - 3 week old ducklings and 4 of them have rough hard down on their heads and are a bit baldy

    my silkie has been sat for 24 days sadly no eggs hatched but they were all fertile - she decided to leave the nest on day 24 - I removed the eggs - did an eggtopsy and all chicks had died at some point - I cleaned up the nest area - she seems ok and in quite good condition as I made sure she had...

    I always go in with a watering can full of water - seems to work - if he comes near i just shower him - hes not impressed

    They are only 11 weeks - I got them st 8 weeks or at leafy that's what I was told? They are not even on layer pellets yet

    Yes all three from the same breeder from the South West Scotland poultry group / I wanted hens

    No not yet - that's what i thought they are not very pointed at the end - presume if they start crowing that's when it will be obvious?
