    this is so true when my dog was stretched out laying on her side sun bathing, the way the group of turkeys lowered their heads and strided towards her like she was a road kill corps was exactly what it looked like even said it to my self "velociraptors" lol... Turkeys have always reminded me...

    my turkeys love the misty and light rain. Think it makes bugs come up to the surface? crazy little b-tards...lol .. standing out in the rain with them when I should be all cozy in the house with my hot coco.

    I know my dad as a kid would go help gather up larger chicken operations at night to be shipped out for processing. They clear our a huge barn very quickly at night when the chickens were all docile at night before the chickens even realized what was happening.

    the 3 are at the top of the age group. fully independent to head out on their own. They set the direction of movement for the rest of the group. I have an older tom and an earlier hatched female that raised them ,trained them, keep watch out, that the rest of the 10 in the group follow...
