    I just posted about the same type of chicken. Mine is same age too and looks just like yours. Everyone said cockeral to me.... so this gives me some hope.

    I'm not sure on the exact age. I'm thinking 4ish weeks. I'm pretty positive it's a roo. My daughter picked out the chicken and named it Mrs. I know Longhorns have big combs... pretty much just reaching at this point. Anyone had a chick like this that was a pullet? Its comb still seems fairly yellow.

    Swollen bubbly eyes

    This chick is about 9 weeks old. One eye started to get swollen and red. I originally thought it was a pecking injury. But then it started to spread to the other eye which is now significantly more red, swollen, and bubbly then the other. I have now separated her from the rest of the flock...
