Quick one here: I've got a hen who's been setting on a clutch of eggs and they're near fruition.
Seems as if the other hens (3 Barred Rocks) are either VERY curious or attempting to disrupt the process -- they've been trying to wedge themselves near her and even attempted to sit on the...
It's been aprox. three weeks.
She seems to dig sitting on them and even gets a little loud when you intrude.
Funny because I've done very little for my guy/gals...just laying mash, unlimited foraging time, and agua ...and then BOOM!
LIFE appears.
It's kinda cool, I gotta admit.
