    When I started with that particular breed I was told (and it is definitely true) that the mop heads are hens and the roosters will have more of a hanging wiry look to the feathers on their heads.     Thanks everyone! Yes we've surely got a diverse flock. I like fancy breeds so most of "mine" are golden polish, spitzhaubens, and a few other fun ones.
