    Thank you. You might just need to add hardware clothe to the bottom. That will keep the snakes out. I laid it at the bottom inside and up about 2 inches on the sides then nailed it with U shape nails.

    I just finished my coop. I used the 1/2 inch hardware cloth on sides and bottom under 5 inches of sand. No Squirrels, Raccoons, or Rattlers will get in. All other areas are wood. Help I can't figure out how to add my picture.

    I had one doing that at 5 days. I added a heat light and fine in 10 minutes or so after. They should have heat 90-95 first week then for each week after -5 degrees
