Okay, what Orpington colours can be shown for the British standard? I know the SPA colours just not the British. Reason being is that I have a handsome golden lace pro rooster with a beautiful comb and wattles.

There are also black Dorkings. She may have blood from them. She is a beauty.

I would think you would end up with some of each color. Probably red with white feathers or blotches of silver or silver with blotches of red depending on whose genetics dominate the chick. If the red roo is dominant you will mostly have red chicks.

In the US it's pretty easy to get it. American hemp llc has it and places like petsmart have the small animal hemp bedding. And new country organics has it as well. From what I've been looking at and reading it lasts longer than shavings, and is great for deep littler bedding.
