    When I left for work this morning she was fine but when I checked on her at lunch she had died. Can they die even after they passed the egg?

    She’s not panting anymore just tired. No I didn’t take a picture of it. It was collapsed and her poops aren’t as runny as earlier they’ve got more white in it

    She passed the egg this morning. There was nothing to it.. no yolk and it was wrinkled. After she laid it she was panting a lot

    We are able to feel a egg in her so we were wondering about that too.. her crop felt full of food

    - Her comb and feet are room temperature.. nothing out of the ordinary. We are not concerned about them... - she has very eagerly poop - mainly clear - she’s about 2 1/2 years old - we are not taking her temperature - her feathers are very rough due to our roosters - they are on a layer...

    Thank you for the advice. We aren’t going to add them as a safety precaution. Plus they are chicks so to young to go with them

    Unfortunately this time we didn’t. We always do but we have other chicks in our quarantined area so we just put them in. It was a mistake on our behalf.

    we recently got 9 chickens from someone who passed away. This weekend we had one of our previous chickens pass away. We now have another hen that is very warm, not wanting to eat or drink. She does still have her balance and is aware. Any ideas on what could be going on
