We bought them at Rural King and they were labeled Australorp. They looked like australorp chicks (I know other chicks may look the same) but as they grow we were wondering more and more about the possibility of a Columbian Wyandotte.
We bought these two chickens (one on the feeder and one in front below) and told they were australorps. As they grow we are wondering if we were told wrong as they are growing more and more white. Thoughts?
Hello! Our chickens are growing and we are really enjoying them! We got our first egg yesterday! We have been having trouble placing this chicken and we're hoping for help identifying the breed and most importantly....gender. We supposedly got pullets and are questioning this chicken.

Hello everyone. My husband and I just recently (Monday) brought home our first flock of (hopefully) hens. We have 4 Barred Rock pullets and 4 mystery pullets. We are thinking the two red pullets are Rhode Island Reds or Red sex links and the two black chicks are either australorps or black sex...
Thank you! I had just read a thread that someone posted about sight sexing chicks and was wondering if these were old enough. Excited to see what we have!
My husband and I just brought home 8 new chicks and we were hoping for help with the gender of our Barred Rock chicks and the breed of our "mystery" chicks. They are all supposed to be pullets but we have seen some questionable information.
Here are the mystery chicks.
