I still have not been able to find any Muscovy ducks.Adults(preferably a trio) or ducklings(6-8),no color preference.Just would like them to be within about an hour from 13830.
You know, I was thinking eggs might be the way to go.I do not have an incubator. Can you tell me what one would be good for hatching turkey eggs? Something reasonably priced and easy to use for a beginner? Also do those of you breeding turkeys hatch them in an incubator or let the hens set?
I am looking for heritage turkey poults or adults,Muscovy ducklings or adults and adult Bantam chickens this spring. The turkeys and bantams I have no preference as to breed.I am in Central New York, can travel a bit for pick up.Thanks!
I want to get heritage turkeys this spring, but do not want 15.I thought I had found someone near me to share an order, but I am not getting a response to my emails.I am in Chenango County, was thinking of ordering from Porters. If anyone within reasonable driving distance would like to do this,let...

This may be a stupid question, but how do you get to the nest boxes with sides closed in? I really like this idea, I am in New York, so it would have to be closed in.
I asked at a couple of hatcheries about buying a few turkeys and filling the order with chicks for heat and they said no, they would not mix them like that.If you know of a place that will do that, can you please post it? Thanks!
Oh, so glad I found this post,I am in Chenango County and also want heritage turkeys, in particular the Royal Palms.I too would be interested in splitting a shipment.
