    sorry been working and havent been on much. To answer your question no thats not the cups the ones i have are ones that thread in to pvc and they have a little yellow tab that the chickens peck at which causes the water to be released. Its a gravity feed system. Hope this makes sense :-)

    Hi I use the cups. I have them plumbed off of a 55 gallon barrel. I absolutely love them! You do have to clean them out every so often but they are soooooo much easier then the water buckets. The chickens learn quickly how to work them, even the duck! The chickens cant tip them and dont scratch...

    I would call randall burkey company first to see if what you want is in store they do most of their buisness through phone orders but do carry some in store.

    Theres 3 feed stores that I'm aware of in Boerne. TSC, Jonny's feed, and Wheeler's feed and outfitters I usually get stuff at TSC but I have gotten things from the others. There is also Randall Burkey company which is probably what your thinking of :-)

    thanks I hope its a rabbit :) those are at least cute! I can deal with cute the others well :( i would have to leave them for my husband to deal with. I put peanut butter in the trap hopefully i wont catch my dogs with it I have 3 very small pomeranians that can fit in the trap :)

    Hi all I dont post much but i read this thread several times a day :) i have a question, something is living under our shed and i need some suggestions on what to bait the trap with? not sure what it is the dogs have been going nuts and haven't been sprayed so assuming its not a skunk:) thanks

    Hi I live just north of San Antonio in Boerne I have silkies and bantams as well. they have a run that isnt covered but also a coop that is their dry spot. for the most part when its raining they will stand out in the run until they are soaked and muddy then they will wonder into their coop...

    unfortunately that was the first thing that came to mind when you said black spots on their comb :( I had fowl pox last year on 4 of my bantams, only lost one to it though, the rest did fine. i assume all the others had it as well but only found the black spots on the 4.

    I think SBEL stands for "super blue egg layer" wish i knew you had eggs i was through Marble falls last weekend! With the heat right now i dont have eggs shipped to me, I never have good hatches when its this hot i think they start to incubate while at the post office then the developing embryo...

    I've done it a few times best advice i can give is make sure your knife is very very sharp and make the x cut big enough to get the cores out :) Good Luck!

    its 105 here so far today! I had misters for the runs but with the limestone in the water here it plugs the little holes up and i quit using them last year :( the runs and coops are under the shade of several small oak so its cooler there by about 5 to 10 degrees i wet down the runs and they...
