Silkie thread!
wow!! They are all so cute!! So is that the male and female silkies and their babies..? I'm new lol we very much so want to get some silkies because that's what I had as a kid and loved them! I'm afraid I don't remember much about the silkie breeds and the differences between them! Love the video :)- AspenJoshB

Thank you all for the excellent advice!! I will be searching for breeders soon although I AM very nervous to have any shipped if I can't find any somewhat locally, it doesn't traumatize them? Lol and I also have a question for QueenMisha - why is it hard to find a female silkie?- AspenJoshB

Rock springs wy here! Does anyone still post on this thread? I'm new to this site and only seeing stuff from 2013. We aren't chicken owners yet but are wanting to get silkies! Eventually it would be nice to get chickens that lay eggs on a regular basis but silkies were my favorite pets as a kid...- AspenJoshB

We are from Rock Springs, Wyoming and we really want to get a couple of Silkies! When I was younger my aunt and cousins raised all kinds of chickens in their yard and now that I have kids of my own I would like to get some Silkies, they were my favorite and soo adorable!
