    sexing barred rocks

I just read somewhere that at 6 weeks if your barred rocks have red in their comb and the start a red waddles they are for sure a rooster. That the pellets combs stay yellowish until 16 weeks. Is this right?

    ROOSTER? HELP!!!!

We are first time chick owners. We have 14 total three of which are barred rocks. Two of the barred rocks seem to have a more red comb and red under their chins. Not sure if they are roosters. It is hard to see in this photo. I know barred rock hens get pretty red too. What do you think ?
