we ended up putting him down, after watching him closely it was pretty clear that even his good leg was having issues and his bad leg was still ice cold so there was no blood flow getting to it. i think there was an issue with nerves or even his hip/pelvis

Ok so I took a strip of t-shirt and tied it in front of his left leg diagonal across his back so it goes behind his bad leg and folded his leg up and tied the shirt up holding his leg to his body....i also kept him slung but lowered it so he's laying on the cage bottom to give his other leg and...

And what do I do with his other leg? Just make one hole in the sling?

That's the thing I have no idea where it's broken.. this is all just me guessing....but him flopping in his side when I try to stand him up worries me....

Well I searched and searched and couldn't pinpoint what's broken and can't find any bruising. And i also noticed that when I prop his good leg under him he either falls to the side of picks up his good foot and puts it like in this picture......i went ahead and splinted both parts of his leg in...

i havent really paid close attention, ive been focused on figuring out how to get him so hes not laying in his poop....this has been a fast 4 days with alot of trial and error

i believe its in the joint somewhere, as i dont know where it its im just going to splint the entire thing,hopefully it will also give home more support as of right now his ENTIRE leg is limp including his toes, he has no control over it at all, so im hoping that by splinting that and keeping...

bc he cant stand on it, its quite obvious its broken somewhere

that im not totally sure, but the finger splint can be shaped and molded to just fit the angle of the entire leg and i will just wrap the entire leg to keep it from moving

I was just given a great idea as well by a nurse friend, going to go buy an aluminum finger splint and cut it down and shape it to his little leg to stabilize it more as it heals :-)
