Ladyearth, they must have been very special to bring out such tenderheartedness. I understand your ache. Have you tried to ask for a copy of, not the actual,xray? What did you do in the garden today?
Took advantage of the free day to catch up on weeding, pruning and admiring the incipient tomato harvest (Cherokee purple, jellie beans, sun sugars, etc). Admiring the perennials I planted last year and my purple coneflowers are taking off with no further effort on my end!- ChihuahuaChick

Well said, EggSighted4Life. HortaChickenist, consider identifying the mite species first. As posted above, mites are microscopic, may not host on chickens, and more importantly may exclude need to expose your girls to potentially harmful chemicals.
