Thanks for all the replies. I have decided to go with 8x10 coop/house and keep my birds at 15 to 20. they will still have the 16x8x6 run and I have pretty much decided that I will not be allowing my birds to free range. just too many issues with that here.
So I will have two of these set ups...
Ok Ok, so if I cut back to 20 birds? LOL I am actually building 2 of these. but one is going to be for polish and silkies and one for larger birds. in reality, if I can get 16 to 20 birds in one, that should be PLENTY!!! but then again.....CHICKEN MATH! LOL

After about a weeks worth of painstaking reading and going back and forth, I decided to pull the trigger and order some...
Just purchased a 25lb bag of scratch and peck and its being shipped with free shipping. I'm sure that is ultimately rolled into the price as all comments I have seen says for the same 34 bucks, I could get 50lbs of some other feed. I do not have my chickens yet, and am getting food here in early...

Anyway, I'm new to chickens and almost have my coops ready to go. I am going to be looking for about 18 adult hens and I know I want a mix of breeds.
Anyone who may have some or all of what I'm looking for in...
