Well, not strangely, but he is a bit weak. He is in a big plastic pond cut out on my back porch, and it is about 85 degrees out, which i think may be fine.
I looked it up, and i found some people, i also found a rehab center. I'm not sure, but I might be able to take him tomorrow. I just hope he survives the night.
In my experience, trying to keep a pound clean that has ducks in it is an exercise of futility. I haven't tried it myself, but i have heard that hydroponic filters work good because of the amount of waste the ducks produce. Good luck though.
So far i have fed them the yolk from a hard boiled egg, a mix of blue berries and raspberries, and some dry cat food that i let soak in water until it was soft. They seemed to like it all. And here's some good news: The one that couldn't walk is actually moving now, and they're definitely...
Thank you, I made the mistake of giving them some water by dropper until i found out, luckily no damage was done. I just fed them some mushed up cat food and they seemed to like it. Can crows eat crickets too? Also, I'm not sure if this is an issue, or just normal behavior, but one of them has...
Well its sunrise and they're still alive, so that's good. I am going to feed them now. I looked up pictures of a common grackle. While it didn't look like some of the grackle's in the picture, it looked like this the picture below.
I live in Sunrise, FL. I am also going to start looking for one...
They don't have blue eyes, so i guess they're not crows. I haven't really seen the parents, but I'll check again. They are both definitely lethargic, but they do seem to be doing a little better. The one that cant walk is picking his head up more, and looking a bit more lively. Here is a photo...
The first thing i fed them were small meal worms. They ate them, but tomorrow I'm going to the store to get some ingredients for some of the things i saw. I will also try the scrambled eggs first thing in the morning. I've decided to move the birds to my back porch because there are like 3...
Yes, i did see the link, and it was quite helpful. I'll check out the video. When i first saw the babies, i saw the parents, but i couldnt see the nest, so i just left the container in the same spot, but now i cant see them.
Im sorry that this is posted in the wrong section, i just cant find any section for crows. There is a nest of crows in my neighborhood, and yesterday i saw a baby crow on the ground. I looked up what to do, and it said to leave it where it is, and that's what i did. But today i found 2 more...
