    It came on very suddenly. The vet prescribed antibiotics and said it could take a while to notice a difference. She’s still eating and scratching around.

    Tina is a 3 yo silver laced Wyandotte that developed a swollen wattle very suddenly. Does this look like fowl cholera? Vet says maybe infection maybe cancer. Many thanks!!

    Is this bumblefoot healed well enough or does it still need to be treated?

    And since it isn't bothering her I wasn't sure if treating it more is even necessary. I don't want it to get worse, however.

    I noticed bumblefoot on one of my girls a few weeks ago and was able to remove the scab a few times and dress it with various poultices and salves. It never appeared to bother her (no limp, etc.) so I wonder if it is healing up and I should just leave it alone or if I should continue treating...
