    GLW, Olive Eggers

Thank you. I was just curious as I have other breeds that I’ve had for 7 years that started laying around 16 weeks and I know different breeds lay at different ages. I even have one Buff that started laying at 20 weeks and my other Buff that is the same age has yet to lay. So I know it also...

    GLW, Olive Eggers

Hello! So my 2 Golden Laced Wyandotte pullets are 22 weeks old and their combs and wattles are brightly red, no squatting yet. How old were yours when they began laying? Also, my 2 Olive Egger pullets are also 22 weeks old and same, scenario, red combs and wattles no squatting yet. How old...

    What say you?

Yeah A has me a little concerned. The comb and wattles aren’t as pink as they appear in the pick, BUT they are pinker than B’s. They’re legs are actually the same size, it’s just the angle of the pics make A’s look thicker. I watch their behaviors hoping for a glimpse something that will tell me...

So I have two GLWs. They are approximately 9ish weeks old. What say you on their sexes? Y’all don’t go breaking my heart now! 😂

    She’s an Olive Egger but…

I was thinking Maran and Ameraucana as well. I don’t like to play favorites…. But…. Lol

    She’s an Olive Egger but…

So I have this pretty baby… I do know she’s an Olive Egger, but what two breeds do you think she is mixed with? She does have feathered legs/feet. Slate colored legs. Dark gray feathers except around neck. And it looks like probably a pea comb. She is about 8-9 weeks old. TIA!

This is suppose to be a GLW

Thank you! Yeah, definitely not for show. I was just curious if it was indeed Golden Laced and not some other coloration. 😊

No clue… they’ve come in with the brown feathers. I have another GLW and there are no whitish tips on her at all.

This is suppose to be a GLW

So this baby is suppose to be a GLW. But s/he has whitish colored tips on the feathers. Any ideas what s/he is exactly? I’ve never had Wyandottes before. TIA

ISO Crested Cream Legbars in TN or KY

Please keep me updated! I’m not in a rush atm because I am wanting to wait until my hen goes broody again (she goes broody ALLLLLL the time from spring until fall). I’m hoping she will adopt some chicks. I’m only looking to get her 3 maybe 4 chicks. And since they’re auto-sexed, just pullets.

ISO Crested Cream Legbars in TN or KY

Hey everyone! Been a long time since I’ve been on here… Life got busy and crazy for me… Anyway, I don’t want to buy from a hatchery, I want to avoid buying chicks through shipping… So I’m curious if anyone knows where I can find someone who regularly breeds and sales Crested Cream Legbar...
