    My salmon faverolle is a spastic chicken that seems to always run in a zig zag formation. One day I realize the beard this breed has started to fall out and now she is acting more slow then normal. Is this molting or is she sick?

    One of my chickens stand out from the others. It's back is black with white stripes like a hen but the chest is really white. He/she is 11 weeks old. Can you tell the gender by the pictures?

    Thanks for the really detailed reply, it's not the end of the world of on is a rooser. The person we got them from showed us the difference between male and female so I'm hoping they are female.

    Thanks, I'll just wait it out and if one is a rooster the person I got them from said she will trade in the rooster for a hen.

    I'm not sure, I'm new to chickens. The person we got them from said they were hens but one a tail feather and the others haven't even grew them yet. We aren't allowed to have roosters.
