    I have always selected roosters that get along. I do not keep troublemakers. They used to free range and roost in the trees. I have plenty of predators and I always had at least three roosters to a flock. My Quechua no longer free range. I had a problem with raccoons taking them out of the trees...

    Scratch and Peck chick starter has fish meal in it. I believe that is something you should not feed geese. Not sure if that would cause it.

    Great to see all the babies. I have only hatched a few Colloncas so far. Next year I will be hatching as many as possible! Letting my broodies do the work this year. It will be a surprise what I get.

    Thanks! They choose to sleep in that tree most of the year even if it is raining or snowing. I have a few older ladies who sleep in the coop. They do just fine with my other birds. They are very assertive.

    I know they are not real Ameraucanas. That is why I added the "i." Do not mean to be confusing. I had a single chick and I needed some chicks pronto so, I bought my first hatchery chicks. They need a new home because I have too many birds and I will not be using them for breeding...
