If used for it's intended purpose, the odds of being addicted are slim to none. When you take enough to make you feel a high, or take it for reasons other than pain, then you are flirting with danger.
I would continue to watch her toes for a while (I can be anal like that). I am so glad she seems to be doing well and enjoying running with her flock. That's always a good sign. However chickens often try to hide problems they may be having from us. I hope you pop back in and let us know...
